Have you ever wondered what other people speak about you when you're not there? They say what they can't say when you are present. But you would be surprised and sad if you knew what they talked about.
Speaking shit about others is something we all do more or less, especially if there's a clear reason for that. If someone behaves in a strange way or is very lame, then that person must be ready for such punishment. In this article, I will learn you what to do when you discover some people that speak bad about you but also what to do when you discover that someone else discovered that you and other people speak shit about him/her. Let's face this situation: You are new on your work and you feel like you fit the workplace and your team. After a few days, you discover that one of your old teachers work there. The situation gets embarrassing so you try to keep an eye on her when she speaks with the boss. After a week, you discover that they speak about you 10 yards/meters away. They speak about the problems that you had in the first year at school, then the boss laugh about it. What can you do about it? What's better than destroying their moment by walking in and say something embarrassing about what your old teacher did at school, it's not very important that it’s exactly true but it's important that it is something more embarrassing than the things they talked about. But imagine now that you are the one that speak shit about someone else and in this situation, you are the teacher. Is it anything that you could do? Most people would give up here, but you can try to laugh at the incomer and lie to him that you also told good things about him/her. You can also raise your eyebrow and ask: “Are you healthy?” or some other arrogant thing. So, in both cases, you can use the Attacking-opponent-strategy. Whatever you do, try to behave like normal and neutral, since your boss is watching you. |
