Some people can afford everything they need or want. They can buy a plasma screen every second month and still have some money over to spend on their car or buying clothes. They've got so much money that they even may be bored with them. They might save them on a bank account as a result of their lack of creativity. But there will always turn up situations where they need to buy something when they don't have either a credit card or enough cash with them. It can be a ticket to a train, airplane, boat or a bus but also for a hotel and food, when they are far away from home and just got robbed or if they simply forgot their wallet at home or somewhere else.
Other people that don't have a job are usually poorer than others. They can only afford basic needs and know that a job won't come soon, but they might need to save some money for other things without spending less on something else. This guide is intended to help such people. First of all, try to earn yourself a good reputation among your sponge-targets. The targets should include most of your money-pockets that you visit often; such include the places you buy your food from, your local transportation company (if you use public transportation) and other places that you visit many times in a month. Some people with a good rhetoric skill can fool their own landlord. They can therefore pay much less than they would do otherwise. I don't recommend you to try out this method before you've tested the easier and not so time-consuming methods which I mentioned above. When you know which places that you should concentrate on and when you have developed good relations with your sponge-targets, then just follow the excuse-list under this piece of text. It will make your targets allow you to not pay a full price or even get the product/service for free. Quoting excuse-list
+ If something costs 9.99$ then ask if you can just pay 9$ or 8$ instead of the real price. Explain for the staff that you don't have any more money at the moment. + Tell the staff that you want to celebrate something but don't have any money at that time. Be happy and nice. They won't ditch you if they are happy. + Check your pockets in your jacket, pants and everywhere else. Check again, and again. Then tell the staff that you can't find your money. Do a half-attempted Nervous-break-down-act on the same time. (Transportation) + Get on your transport in the last minute, run so fast that you will breathe quickly when you’re there. Then tell the staff that you lost your ticket but you still want to go. And remember to be patient and don't give up too easy. That's the most usual reason why this fails. When you think you have learned how to use this technique in a successful way, then you are skilled enough to use it at any place. This knowledge can be very useful in the future, especially if you get lost when you're travelling. |

| I would like to know how long this method works. I will move to Venice for 2 years and I would like to pay cheap but live rich. I'm asking because I don't want every store-owner in the city to hate me after just a few months of living there. | |
