There's no more cowardly way to handle a mistake than running away from it. Though, it's often the only way out, especially if you forget the relevant mistake strategy. In that case you might consider withdrawing from the current area, depending on how important mistake you made.
Running away from something means mostly that you don't solve the problem itself; you just store it in your problem pocket where it can grow bigger or decrease and slowly disappear. Use this method only when the other strategies won’t work or when it's a small problem that will probably be forgotten in the future. It is especially good to use if you are going to move to another town far away were your target can't reach you. This can cause serious problems in the future if it's used incorrectly. If you escape with the truth about something very serious and important then you must ensure that the truth will be a secret forever. If you escape from your duties at work without a clear reason then it will most likely be forgiven if you tell the truth to your boss. Don't use it against people you trust because they expect you to be honest. But use it against stubborn people and trolls that ignore every other excuse you give them. Use it against dicks and assholes. |
