Many people think that snakes are cruel, especially when a snake bites them in the dick-balls. But snakes can also be good, remember; it was the snake that gave us the knowledge by fooling Eve to bite the forbidden apple. And with the knowledge, we can learn how to defend ourselves from "dangerous" animals such as snakes. So they are more or less biting their own tail.

There are many non-venomous snakes out there such as the Boa-constrictor, Anaconda and the friendly Grass-snake. So don't be afraid that you're going to die in 5 minutes when you get bite by those. But you can get squeezed to death from some of them, notably the Anaconda.

If you actually were bitten by a venomous snake, ask someone around you to suck'n spit the blood in the wound to keep out the poison. If nobody wants or if you are on your own, then you have to suck yourself. Try also to scream for help, they might come and give you some medicine against it, or if you have your own remedy, just suck'n spit 5 times, pick up the medicine, suck'n spit 3 times, then take it. You might survive if you’re lucky, or if you're not, the snake (or another snake) can come back and bite you again when you just finished the healing process.

If you are swimming and get a bite by a sea snake (which will very unlikely happen if you don´t touch/irritate the animal) then you are in a big trouble, since sea snakes are usually 100 times more poisonous than regular land-cobras. Go up to the surface and take the cure as quickly as possible. After you done that then drink as much water as possible and pray to G-d for help (if you're an atheist then pray to Stalin). If you’re really unlucky then the sea snake gives you a several bites, etc 2 bites/second in 5 minutes. What to do then? If you can do anything then try to irritate the snake even more so you die faster.

How to prevent snake-bites? Well, just be careful and don't play in the jungle on your own, especially if you visit India, Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico, Thailand, Philippines, Florida or Ecuador. Also, try to wear wellingtons when you walk around in the swamp, most snakes can't beat though the well protecting layer of rubber.

I don't think it's very comfortable to wear boots in the jungle, it's just too hot. You should simply avoid to walk in the jungle if it isn't very  necessary. There's a lot of creepy animals there like spiders and scorpions.
