Our ancestors used to work when the sun went up and had some free time on the night to sleep, drink beer and dance. Those days are over now. When the industrialization arrived, the importance of the clock increased dramatically because we had to make the transportation to work as a routine since train is a collective transportation. It turned into some kind of hype among our leaders. Soon after, we were enslaved by get in time to the work and having deadlines.

To wake up by some silly clock is not natural for our body, we are adapted to regulate our organic clock by our primitive needs, we should eat when we are hungry, drink when we are thirsty, make fun things when we are bored and sleep when we are tired. The problem is that not everyone understand that it's just natural to get too late for something when we feel for it.

It's your boss duty to make you feel motivated to go to work and actually work. If you don't feel for working then it’s not your problem, it’s your boss problem. If you actually do feel for doing a great job then its mostly good for your boss, he can however not expect that you always check your time; coming too late every second day is what the tomorrow’s leaders must be prepared for. And not passing your time doesn't mean that you don't do a worse job than any perfect time-woman or time-man.

If your boss tells you; "Why can’t you pass the times, how would the world look like if everyone.. blabla" then you can always tell him/her that you will do the same amount of work as you always do, if not more. Don't worry about working your ass off the rest of the day, it's just empty words. Your boss will forget everything the next day after 1000 phone calls.

When you have a deadline, which is very common among publishers, ensure yourself not to stress and take it too serious. It's not the whole world if you finish it a few days later, it actually happens all the times at professional news magazines such as BBC, Forbes, Times, CNN. I could go on and on.

So when you boss is mad just because you didn't finish the article in time, you can always tell him that it was on a too complex and big subject that takes time to do if you want quality. Well, that wasn't the case but this will probably work a few times if you’re lucky. You need to do another excuse next time, so why not take a look at our strategy list on the front page?

When you should travel somewhere and miss a plane, train or boat or some other kind of transportation and don't get back your ticket money, then you can always try to get a free ticket to the next one by doing a Nervous-break-down-act or an Attacking-opponent-strategy and you will most likely get it, but be patient it could probably take an hour or two.
