We are all good at something; everyone has its own, unique talent. That's a phrase that you probably heard many times before, but why was it ever made from the beginning? Well not because of a result from some scientific experiment, it was more like an act to cheer up all poor losers so they could think that they are something. Actually most people on earth got no talent at all. So it's a false statement, you can calm down if a newbie showed you that you suck in your so called "talent".

After getting this, you understand that it's nothing to be upset about, there's still a value that you can defend while you lose your fake talent-believe, "the honor".

Most important is to be cool and not upset because the more you feed your target with upsetness, the more honor you lose, but there's no reason to be upset if you get the message; not having a "talent" is nothing to be upset about.

You may think about things such as bad concentration, stress, bad mood or a not-your-day experience. The truth is that you are only talent when you’re in the acquired shape to win. So it doesn’t matter what you think.

Imagine that you think that you are an expert on aikido and kung fu and then some 13 year old kid beat the heck out of you on the street at 3 am. Next day, you are going to teach a new group of preteens in taekwondo and one of the "students" is the kid that kicked your ass yesterday.

Most people would do their official job; train them and pretend like nothing has happened, but feel really bad inside. The kid with the fighting skill would however have no respect for that kind of person and maybe kick the ass of him once again to show how king he is.

Aging is a process that can't be ignored. We degenerate every single day, we can slow this process by taking antioxidant pills, but we can't stop it or make it to go backwards. There is always someone with the same skills that you had when you were young. You may still have more knowledge but not the same quality in your genes as you had when you were younger which makes you unbeatable for anyone.

So he is probably mature enough to take over your job as a master teacher. Give him your belt and take the towel or became his student. This may sound as a really bad and cowardly way to handle it but it's much better than insist that you are better despite you know that you’re not.

But let’s say that you are young and think that you got a big talent in billiards. You play with professional people and mostly win. You then try to teach your girlfriend what pool is and how it works, next day she challenge you in a nineball game, you try to play your best but she wins anyway.

This is very easy. Just be happy when she wins and congratulate her with a hug and a kiss or something, say “not bad for a newcomer“ or something else that will make she think that it wasn’t deadly serious despite that it actually was.
